Reference books

Reference sources such as handbooks provide verified data that have been gathered about properties of materials, physical and mechanical constants, formulas, and standard calculations.

The Grainger Library has licensed a database covering the full-text of over 100 CRC engineering handbooks and a full-text version of the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics is also available.

Grainger Library offers a customized reference database to help you locate reference materials within the engineering library by subject.

Lists of reference books for:
All Courses, AAE 240-241, AGE 336, CS 292-293, ECE 345, and MIE 280.

Many design issues are common across disciplines. While several reference books are useful for all design classes some are more useful for specific classes. Thus, you will probably find useful the books listed for all courses and for the course you are taking. Additionally, you might even find that some books listed under a different course than the one you are taking are also relevant to your project.
